glimmergem2211) I sat at the "dork" table in high school and actually felt kinda cool there.
2) I listened to broadway musicals exclusively until I was in middle school and someone shamed me into buying Green Day's "Dookie". I can win a "name that showtune" battle with just about anyone.
3) I am addicted to reality TV.
4) For most of my childhood, I believed that my stuffed animals had feelings. I still feel guilty if I find that I have left them in "uncomfortable" positions.
5) I am, at times, afraid of the dark.
Hmm, I dont really feeling like tagging anyone, but if you are reading this feel free to chime in :-)
**edit: Oh my goodness, how did I get through that whole list without mentioning Star Trek....oh, Star Trek--how I love thee and all your many incarnations. I have the trading cards, I have the action figures, I have the autographed pictues (most of which are the fruits of long hours of waiting in line at Star Trek conventions), I even have the full set of Mattel battleship minatures complete with stands and case. I have all of the Christmas tree ornaments, including the replication of the shuttle pod from the original Trek that comes complete with Spock offering a holiday wish and reminding us to live long and prosper.
It probably didn't occur to me to post the Trek information in the top 5 because I was searching for the things I do/have done that seem absurd...and at first pass the Trek didn't make the cut. Ya'll aint got NOTHIN' on my dorkdom.

1. I'm getting my degree in Computer Science... that should count for five I think.
2. I'm utterly and totally obsessed with my new home state.
3. I have a livejournal, and read the livejournals of everyone I know.
4. More often than not, when I'm drinking large amounts of alcohol it is in the presence of my office mates and my advisor.
5. My primary work involves optimizing agricultural products :)

Yeah, didn't think of that :) Given that we haven't met in around... 14 years? Maybe 15? You wouldn't know who I am from my journal as I don't like journaling about RL events so much as letting off steam in the form of anti-Wisconsin propaganda, a state I'm not sure I was even aware existed 14 or 15 years ago except in theory.
